Xian Xian

Xian Xian is a Core Formation-stage Crystal being residing on the Thunder Continent within the Spirit Realm. She symbiotically hosts a soul fragment of a True-Spirit Kirin that self-detonated itself to escape its sword enemies. When she was born, one of these soul fragments attached itself to her intending to take over her body. Thanks to her unique constitution, the Kirin was unable to possess her. Instead, the two were forced into a partnership. The Kirin helped her with her cultivation in order to ensure its self-preservation.

Appearance

Xian Xian takes the appearance of a young female around 17 to 18 years of aged. She has a pea-sized white cyrstal embedded on her glabella, and her eyes exude a sense of wisdom. Her mannerisms exude grace and elegance.

Background

Xian Xian was often guided by the Kirin soul fragment living within her. She was safely guided through ruins and given cultivation guidance by the Kirin. These fortunes allowed her cultivation to grow at a rate faster than other Crystal Race beings. Under the Kirin’s guidance, she planned to enter the Golden Devil Mountain Ranges in order to obtain True-Kirin Essence left over when the True-Spirit Kirin detonated its soul. However, a powerful Holy-Race (Body Integration) stage Demonic Ape took residence in the cave where the True-Kirin Essence was located. As a result, she needed to entice a powerful senior in order to sneak past this demonic ape.

First Meeting

As luck would have it, Xian Xian managed to entice a 7th-Tier Upper-Race (Spatial Tempering) stage being who has stumbled into her shop. This being was Han Li who was browsing the market after recently arriving in the Cloud City. She was able to sense that Han Li cultivated some sort of Devilish abilities. She exchanged a piece of Heavenly Devilish Armor in exchange for assistance in dealing with the Demonic Ape. However, the armor was damaged and therefore not enough to complete the exchange. To complete the exchange, she promised to repair the armor using the Demon Core of the Ape.

Golden Devil Mountain Ranges

Xian Xian also recruited the assistance of a guide to navigate herself and Han Li through the mountain range. This guide was renown for having entered and returned from the devil-infested mountain range. She offered Zoysia Spirit Liquid in order to entice this guide to helping her.

The mountain range was sealed by a fearsome sea of lightning. In order to enter the mountain range, Xian Xian and her teammates needed to acquire a Lightningbane Umbrella which would all of them to travel through the sea of lightning. The umbrellas can be acquired by an overseer from the Heavenly Cloud Races that manage entrances that also serve as outposts that provide early warning against any movement by Devilish beings residing in the mountain range.

In order to acquire an umbrella, Xian Xian and her team needed to pass a test. However, the reputation of the guide she recruited attracted the attention of another group of beings that intended to enter the mountain range to acquire an Immortal Zoysia that was rumored to be spotted within the area. This other group attempted to steal her guide. Luckily, Han Li was able to effortlessly crush a 9th-Tier Upper Race (Late Spatial Tempering) being despite Han Li only being a 7th-Tier Upper Race Being (Early Spatial Tempering). Xian Xian was able to pass her trial and enter the mountain range.

Attracting Attention

After entering the mountain range, Xian Xian’s group avoided obstacles whenever they could. However, the group attracted the attention of a Myriad Eye Devil. Luckily, the Eye Devil was effortlessly slaughtered by Han Li. Unbeknownst to the group, the Eye Devil was the son of a Devilish Lord who became enraged when it sensed its son died. The Devilish Lord sent its subordinates to hunt down the killer of its son. As a result, Xian Xian encountered one of these Spatial Tempering-stage subordinates. Luckily, Han Li was able to effortlessly slaughter these pursuers. She was stunned by what she witnessed.

Trap

Xian Xian’s group successfully arrived at the the spirit cave housing the True-Kirin Essence. As promised, Han Li dealt with the Demonic Ape. As a result, she was able to go further into the cave to obtain the essence. Her actions were secretly monitored by Han Li. However, she encountered a powerful rival who like-her possessed one of hundreds of thousands of the True-Spirit Kirin’s soul fragments. Like-her, this being was guided to obtain the True-Kirin Essence by the soul fragment.

In a struggle for dominance, Xian Xian fought with this being. However, it turned out that the Essence had been discovered and consumed by a soul fragment of a Heavenly Devilish Sovereign. The sovereign used the essence as bait to devour cultivators that were guided to the essence by the Kirin’s soul fragments. Luckily, Han Li was able to defeat the sovereign through the use of his Xing Beast. Unfortunately as a result, she was unable to obtain the True-Kirin Essence which was the purpose of her trip.

Escape

As a result of the attention Xian Xian’s group attracted, she was faced with obstacles trying to leave the mountain range. The Devilish beings created a blockade near the entrance to the mountains. While her concealment abilities worked against lower-level Devilish beings, it didn’t work against the Spatial Tempering stage Devilish beings watching the area. She worked together with Han Li to successfully escape the mountain range.

Unfortunately for Xian Xian, the trip only yielded losses. Furthermore, she still had to expend resources in fulfilling her original agreement to repair Han Li’s Devilish Armor. Repairing the armor attracted the attention of a Heavenly Devilish Monarch which tried to force its way into the Spirit Realm. Luckily, Han Li possessed Divine Devilbane Lightning and managed to keep the monarch at bay. From the incident, she learned that she took an even greater loss than she had anticipated because the armor that she traded away was extremely valuable. She momentarily had thoughts about keeping the armor. However, she quickly dissuaded herself from taking the armor. She had witnessed Han Li’s abilities in the mountain range and did not think it was worth offending Han Li.
