Qian Jizi

= Qian Jizi = Qian Jizi is a Late Holy-Race (Body Integration) stage Myriad Ancient residing on the Thunder Continent within the Spirit Realm. He is an elder of the Myriad Ancient Race. As an elder he represents the Myriad Ancient Race in the panels of elders of the Heavenly Cloud Races. He takes the appearance of an elderly man. He is renown as one of the races top four puppet masters.

First Meeting

As an elder, Qian Jizi was stationed at the Cloud City, one of the strongholds of the Heavenly Cloud Races. He learned that one of his juniors managed to return from a mission at the border of the Heavenly Cloud Races territory thanks to the help of Han Li. As a result, Qian Jizi grew curious and intended to meet Han Li.

Before Qian Jizi could act, he sensed and investigated a nearby disturbance and discovered that a 7th-tier Upper-Race (Spatial Tempering) stage being had unintentionally activated a Vast Glacial Badge. Other elders from the Heavenly Cloud Races also sensed the disturbance and were embroiled in a minor debate to secure rights over the badge. Qian Jizi’s arrival put a stop to the debate. He was surprised to learn that the being that activated the badge was none other than Han Li.

Qian Jizi invited Han Li back to the Sentient Hall - a fortress situated within Cloud City. Qian Jizi educated Han Li about matters regarding the Vast Glacial Badge. As the activator of a badge, Han Li became the key to opening a passageway into the Vast Glacial Realm. The realm provided opportunities for 9th-tier Upper-Race (Late Spatial Tempering) beings to ascend to become a Holy-Race being. In order to strengthen the Heavenly Cloud Races, Qian Jizi coerced Han Li into participating in the opening of the realm.

Opening the Vast Glacial Realm

Due to the perpetual state of war with the Jiao Chi, the ceremonies to open the realm were a strategic target. If a badge-activator were killed, then the Heavenly Cloud Races would lose up to 15 attempts to grow another Holy-Race being. An incident unveiled that a Jiao Chi spy infiltrated the city. Qian Jizi was concerned that Han Li would be assassinated. He arranged for Han Li to be closely guarded as to prevent a mishap.

As a member of the Myriad Ancient Race, Qian Jizi was responsible for overseeing the setup of a formation called the Vast Glacial Apparatus that is used to transport beings below the Holy-Race stage of cultivation into the Vast Glacial Realm. He was gathered along with other elders residing in the Cloud City to see off prodigies of the Heavenly Cloud Races as they entered the realm. When Han Li arrived at the gathering location, Qian Jizi was unhappy when other Heavenly Cloud beings failed to pay attention to Han Li. Qian Jizi was aware that Han Li was more powerful than the majority of the prodigies selected by the Heavenly Cloud Races to enter the realm.

As per a secret agreement with other elders, Qian Jizi arranged for disciples of Cai Liuying and Duan Tianren to join Han Li’s group for entering the Vast Glacial Realm.

Jiao Chi Invasion

Years later, the Jiao Chi launched an offensive on the Heavenly Cloud Races. The Jiao Chi lured the Heavenly Cloud Races to into a trap which left the Cloud City with limited defenses. As a result, a massive assault was launched on the city. In order to delay loss of the city, Qian Jizi was reassigned outside of the city. This tricked the Jiao Chi into holding back their Holy-Race stage beings from participating in the fight. This tactic allowed enough time for the prodigies sent to the Vast Glacial Realm to return.

Qian Jizi learned from his peers that Han Li managed to successfully return from the realm. Qian Jizi also learned that Han Li managed to obtain precious medicinal resources from the realm. Together with Cai Liuying and Duan Tianren, Qian Jizi managed to pool together resources to trade for the Spiritual Medicines that Han Li obtained from the realm. After the trade concluded, Qian Jizi suspected Han Li did not bring out all the medicines to trade. Overcome with greed, Qian Jizi tried to solicit the assistance to force Han Li to hand over the rest of the medicines. However, Qian Jizi was dissuaded by his fellow comrades who advised against confronting Han Li. Both Cai Liuying and Duan Tianren were aware that Han Li possessed combat abilities that rivaled to Holy-Race stage beings and that a Grand Ascension grand-elder of the Heavenly Cloud Races was closely related to Han Li.
