Kui Huan is a Qi Condensation cultivator residing in the Dreamcloud Mountains within the Heavenly South Region. He is an external-affairs disciple of the Drifting Cloud Sect where he is assigned to the Hidden Sword Mountain. On the mountain, he takes care of a field containing spirit beasts.
First Meeting
As an external-affairs (outer) disciple, Kui Huan was forced to scavenge for materials and resources. These materials and resources were sold for cultivation progression pills. However, hunting was a tedious task. He often required help from other disciples. During a hunt, he discovered a strange Snowcloud Fox that would net a large sum of Spirit Stones if captured and sold.
Kui Huan was unable to capture this fox on his own. He solicited assistance from other external-affairs disciples. He solicited help from Han Li who was disguised as a Qi Condensation cultivator. Han Li had infiltrated the sect to form a Nascent Soul under the safety and protection of a large sect. Luckily, Han Li agreed to help.
Kui Huan led a group of disciples on the hunt. The group located and chased the fox. However the fox was illusive possessing earth techniques that allowed it to travel through solid rock. Kui Huan was surprised when he witnessed Han Li’s movement abilities. Kui Huan did not know that the fox was an avatar of a long sealed demon within the mountains.
Later, Han Li returned with the captured fox and handed it over to the group. Kui Huan wasn’t aware that this was a ruse created by both Han Li and the fox. However, Kui Huan was unsuccessful at bringing the fox to a market to be traded. The fox managed to escape using illusion techniques.
Centuries later while Han Li went to rescue Song Yu, Mu Peiling and Liu Yu from his Second Nascent Soul within Devilfall Valley, he would track his second body at the Myriad depth devilish abyss. Previously he was given an island there for helping subduing the devilish Qi which the sect now controlled and they had place a few sect members there which Kui Huan along with two others were now in charge of that duty. Han Li recognized him and was shocked to see that he progressed to the Core Formation Realm, they briefly talked, Kui huan explained that the others died of old age as they weren’t able to get to the Foundation Establishment as for him.. over 100 years ago, he unintentionally consumed an unknown spirit herb, and his cultivation base progressed at a phenomenal rate thereafter.
